.::About The Artist and The Products::.
I have been online now for nearly 8 years and have been drawing for almost 5 of those years. I got PSP (started with version 5) and found that I really liked it. I worked hard at learning all of the tools and what different and amazing things could be done with them and went from there. I then upgraded to PSP7 and spent many hours drawing and working to where I could start up Whimsy Attic - my graphics website. It is my home in cyberspace and has been such a blessing to me in more ways than one. I have "met" many wonderful friends by my having this site and each holds a special place in my heart.
I now have PSP9 and am loving it. I have drawn web graphics for many including myself, taught others how to use this marvelous program by writing tutorials at Whimsy Pixels and am now once again, broadening my horizons. Drawing high-quality printable graphics is a whole other ball of wax *S*. It is totally different than drawing web graphics but I am enjoying the challenge.
My son is on a two-year mission for our Church and while trying to get his Mission scrapbook started, I realized there just wasn't everything out there that I wanted for it, so I decided to create my own. Thus Whimsy Scraps was born.
All of my digital graphics are drawn in 300 dpi (dots per inch). The higher that number the better quality of graphics. Everything I create and add to this site for sale, has first been tested out by myself. Please bear in mind that results will vary depending on the papers and inks you use and especially the quality of printer you have. I have an HP inkjet printer and it does a wonderful job.
I will try hard to make everything that I have to offer here affordable. If you have suggestions and/or any problems at all, please don't hesitate to email me. However, this is NOT a tutorial site. If you are purchasing my digital products, I am assuming that you have a basic knowledge of how it all works and how your graphics program works as well. If not, there are many great tutorial sites online. You just have to do a search to find many. There are also many sites that explain in more detail all about digital scrapbooking. I have a page with some of my favorite digital art links but again, do a search and you will be amazed at all you can find.
